In 1873, Jessamine Ophelia McDermot spent many months training her twin mail monkeys Finn and Quinn. Although they could endure the delivery routes, they often where plagued with incorrect course corrections. Finn always peddled slightly harder, which of course caused imperfections that would often cause them to go in large sweeping circles. The younger sibling monkey Halinn always wanted to try the delivery contraption, however her lazy eye prevented her from performing the task. The unfortunate events during the autumn of 1879 caused the quick demise of the Monkey Express when advancing troops in the Battle of Arkham never received their marching orders via the mail causing massive casualties. Jessamine was devastated by the news and soon thereafter retired her monkey business. She never recovered from her shortcoming and passed away in 1894, lonely and despaired.
